However, the Philippines citizens who is wishing to stay in Vietnam for more than 21 days, a Vietnam visa is required. The 21 days visa exemption starts on arrival date (day 1) when you pass through immigration. You need to exit Vietnam (going through immigration) on the 21th day from the arrival date (day 1).
Citizens of Philippines or those who are currently living in this country may apply for Vietnam visa by 3 options:
- Getting a Vietnam e-visa: From August 15th, 2023 all the nationalities are eligible for maximum 90 days, single or multiple entry Vietnam e-visa. With a Vietnam e-visa, the foreigners now can travel Vietnam via airports, land border gates or seaports. Vietnam e-visa can be arranged within 1 working days, 4 working hours or 2 working hours to satisfy your Vietnam entry needs anytime.
When you applied for a Vietnam e-visa, you should keep your eyes on the visa application to make sure there is no amendment requests from Vietnam Immigration Departments. If your e-visa application is pending or being required to amend the visa details, we can help you expedite the e-visa processing and complete it within 1-2 working hours, just in time for your flight checkin.
- Getting a visa on arrival: If you need to travel to Vietnam on weekends or public holiday while your e-visa application is still in processing, you can apply for a Vietnam visa on arrival and get a visa approval letter within 1 working days or just a few hours in a rush situation. It's beneficial for those who is living in the country where there is no Vietnam Embassy. However, Vietnam visa on arrival is applicable for the entry via airports only;
