Vietnam visa exceptions

Due to geopolitical considerations, the citizens of specific countries may have difficulties in getting a Vietnam visa online. They may need a sponsorship of a Vietnamese travel agency to get a visa on arrival. In this case, they are subject to high processing fee to get a visa approval letter within 1-2 working days.

Visa barriers

Citizens of the following countries may be required to provide evidence of travel history to developed countries in the EU or the US, or a valid residence permit issued by one of those countries. In some cases, proof of employment, such as a labor contract, monthly payslips, or a bank statement, may also be required:
